Friday welcoming event will be an all-woodies "cruise night" at the downtown A&W Drive-In, 301 N Willis. Although other hot-rodders and car guys/gals will be welcome, only woodies will be allowed in the restaurant's parking lot.
Saturday will be the event's woodies only "show and shine," which will be held on the Main Street front lawn of Redwood High School, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. As in past events, there is no entry fee and there will be lots of 60's music, raffle prizes, food, and great fun. Not only is the club inviting fellow woodie owners and enthusiasts statewide to participate in the event, but the event is also open to the public free of charge.
At 2 p.m., those interested will take off on a cruise through the blossoms and ag country of Tulare County, ending up at Tom Meleo's famous Chevy collection near the town of Strathmore. The cruise will end back in Visalia around 5 p.m., where WIV will officially conclude.
