Lindsay Museum/Gallery

An exhibit of a lifetime of images in oil and pastels by Lindsay artist Ellen Sprague. Ellen studied with renowned Russian Artist Sergei Bongart at his studios in Santa Monica and Idaho.
In addition, a presentation and book signing by author Jann McGuire. Her book, "Illness as Initiation, an Unlikely Heroine's Journey" covers the time in Jann's life during her ordeal with Stage III Lymphoma during which her husband suffered a massive stroke and their daughter struggled with epilepsy. Jann drew from many sources for strength, including alternative medicine, and a range of spiritual practices.
