In 1952 Joseph Munoz Sr. formed a partnership with his brother Mike that began a legacy of Hispanic style family restaurants in Bakersfield, starting with SINALOA and culminating in 1990 with the opening of CASA MUNOZ. Working with his wife Teresa and their children, Joe Jr. and Julie, Joe spent many years perfecting the atmosphere and quality that thrives in the restaurant today. Today you will find Joe Jr., his wife Susie and their children working with Julie, her husband Tony and their children to carry on the Munoz family tradition. We are all dedicated to making you feel like family each time you visit our restaurant. Our first priorities are cleanliness and great service, and good food has always been the tradition in our family.
